ENROLLMENT DEADLINES
Per CMS, as an agent, you must receive and sign the consumer’s AEP enrollment application No Later than Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2022 to fulfill AEP election.
All Enrollments MUST BE *Received at GarityAdvantage or directly to the carriers NO LATER THAN the guidelines below.Â
You worked hard all AEP to enroll your clients. Make sure you keep them! Track your book of business on the carrier portals and check in with your members before AEP ends. Are they all set and happy with the plan they chose with you?
Check Your Supplies
Don’t wait until you have run out of supplies to order more. You can order supplies through most carrier portals. Contact your Sales Support Specialist at GarityAdvantage if you need ordering assistance.
Stay on Top of Your Enrollments
Keep an eye out for emails from the carriers and/or GarityAdvantage regarding any possible issues/missing information on an application. Timing is everything in Medicare – especially this last week. In observance of Thanksgiving, GarityAdvantage Agencies will be closed on Thursday, November 24th and Friday, November 25th. Additionally, our office will close at 1pm on Wednesday, November 23rd with the exception of our enrollment processing team who will retain their 9am-5pm hours.
Note: Carrier deadlines for enrollments still apply.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
Medicare enrollments dated before Thursday, November 24th MUST be sent to us no later than Wednesday, November 23rd during business hours (9AM-5PM). All enrollments taken/submitted on Thursday, November 24th will be processed on Friday, November 25th.
Tuesday enrollments sent after hours on
Wednesday risk being LATE to the carrier.
We will be providing limited staff to process your enrollments on Friday afternoon, November 25th, and Saturday morning, November 26th.
To ensure compliance with CMS enrollment time-frames, you should always submit your enrollments the day they are received. This requirement becomes especially important now because CMS requirements Do Not allow additional days for weekends and holidays.
Please use the links below for directions on how to submit your applications to the carriers directly between 5:00 PM, Wednesday, November 23rd and all day Thursday, November 24th.
For enrollments that are NOT time-sensitive, our Agent Dashboard and Enrollment Fax lines are open 24 hours to accept your enrollments. We will resume processing again on Monday, November 28th.
