MA Agents – UHC RPPO Now Fully Commissionable in Middlesex & Suffolk Counties!
You asked for it and we got it done!
UnitedHealthcare has announced that they will make the RPPO product fully commissionable in Middlesex and Suffolk counties, effective with enrollments written 10/15/12 or later, with effective dates of 1/1/2013 or later.
This change is in effect for both new clients and rollover sales. A new commission addendum reflecting these changes will be sent out shortly.
This is in direct response to your very vocal requests, in light of the change in the HMO-POS to an HMO only product. When GarityAdvantage communicated that many of you were concerned about losing your in force block of HMO-POS clients to the non-commissionable RPPO, our friends at UnitedHealthcare stepped up and “did the right thing” by making the RPPO alternative commissionable in the affected counties. UHC wants you to know that they value your business, and they appreciate the hard work you have done in helping them grow their base of Massachusetts clients.
Now you can call on your in force HMO clients, and help them make the right choice by showing them both the HMO and the RPPO options.
This is a great way to start off the 2013 AEP!
