The Night Before AEP…
The Night Before AEP
‘Twas the night before AEP, when all through the house,
Not an agent was resting, not even a mouse.
The ANOCs were stacked on the desk with care,
In hopes that October fifteenth soon would be there.
The prospects were nestled all snug in their beds,
While questions of copays danced in their heads.
And agents with coffee, and laptops aglow,
Were reviewing their plan grids from top row to row.
When out on the inbox there arose such a clatter,
They sprang to their screens to see what was the matter.
Away to the keyboard they flew in a flash,
To answer one more client who’d forgotten their pass.
The moon on the brochures and seminar signs
Gave the luster of daylight to compliance binders and lines.
When what to their wondering eyes should appear,
But an overflowing calendar packed through the year.
With venue confirmations and reminder calls sent,
They knew every minute was remarkably spent.
More rapid than eagles the registrations came,
And they whistled and shouted and called them by name:
“Now John! Now Susan! Now Carol and Mike!
On Medicare changes! On questions alike!
To the webinars! To seminars! To community halls!
Now educate! Educate! Educate all!”
As leaves that before an autumn wind fly,
The agents stayed focused as AEP drew nigh.
Through enrollment guides, formularies, and networks they’d steer,
Helping Medicare beneficiaries feel informed and clear.
And then, in a moment, as midnight drew near,
The final preparations were finally here.
They closed down their laptops and let out a sigh,
Knowing opening day would arrive by and by.
No sleigh full of toys and no reindeer in sight,
Just licensed agents preparing to do things right.
With calendars ready and coffee in sight,
They whispered with confidence into the night:
“Happy AEP to all, and to all a good night!
May enrollments be smooth, and applications right.
May seminars be full and compliance stay tight,
And may tomorrow bring success from morning till night!” 🎄📋☕️🏥
