Prescription Advantage is the Massachusetts State Pharmacy Assistance Program (SPAP) that works as a secondary payer to Part D and Medicare Advantage plans.
Prescription Advantage can help to lower co-pays in the coverage gap (aka donut hole) and also give members a Medicare Special Enrollment Period (SEP) each year to change plans outside of Medicare’s open enrollment.
